During the month of May, we returned to our roots for a one week residency in collaboration with CAOS, Community Arts, Open Space, Clydebank Housing Association & Centre 81.

Working with both adult groups and CAOS after school club we created beautiful story boxes and sound collages with participants' tales of their grandfathers. This culminated with a performance of 'Grandad & Me' and a tea party and sharing, involving delicious Cafe Kizel Letter J themed cupcakes and beautiful Rocket dancing; just to name a few of the activities!

Below is a film made by our tech man with a plan, Mr. Andy McGeoch.
Inspired by Grandads trip to the moon, the after school club participants created their own hand crafted rockets and space travel choreography.

Here's a selection a photo's from the week. Big thanks to the very hard working volunteers who helped to make it possible.

BIG Thanks to The Letter J for sharing their joyful energies and creative juices around the Centre, we are missing you already!
